ACTIVITIES DURING THE LUNCH PERIOD

LET'S DO LUNCH
SHAKE UP THE DAY
Lunch periods are great for students emotional and social health. At lunch, students learn to listen, interact with each other, and develop qualities such as empathy and understanding toward others. Adding a High School Nation activity into your lunch period can amplify these benefits. Schools and students love our initiatives, giveaways, friendly staff, and ability to show students a safe, engaging experience!

BULLYING
Experiencing bullying in school can lead to higher rates of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and negatively affects school performance. Going back to school is difficult enough, students shouldn't have to worry about bullying, too.
5 statements of affirmation can help combat the negative feelings people experience from bullying and help build lasting friendships. Spread messages of encouragement and support by printing our affirmation tearsheets and hanging them up in your school and community where peers can grab an affirming quote to feel supported.

SIT WITH US
Natalie Hamtpon, creator of the Sit With Us app, hopes that no student will ever have to sit alone at lunch again. Her app allows students to reach out to others and let them know they have an open invitation to sit with them during lunch.
